Tijdens de rond in november 2025 hebben we veel patiënten moeten teleurstellen omdat de pneumokokkenvaccins op waren. Er was een hoge opkomst en er waren niet voldoende vaccins, dit was een landelijk probleem. Gelukkig kunnen we u een nieuwe datum doorgeven zodat u alsnog de pneumokokken vaccinatie kan komen halen, als u hiervoor eerder al een uitnodiging had ontvangen.

Als u uw oude uitnodiging voor de pneumokokkenvaccinatie nog heeft, neem deze dan alstublieft mee.

In Rotterdam-IJsselmonde, you can visit two STAR vaccination locations:

• Herenwaard 38 — open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

• Palm Garden 69 — open on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

You can also use other STAR vaccination locations in the region. Sometimes the doctor will refer you to the hospital for blood tests; this will always be discussed with you beforehand.

In principle, the doctor does not give any explanations. Here (link https://www.knmg.nl/actueel/dossiers/beroepsgeheim/geneeskundige-verklaring) you can read why doctors don't do this. With your written consent, a medical advisor can request information from us in writing. In our practice, requests for information are usually processed within 4 to 6 weeks. This has to do with the fact that regular patient care gets priority over administrative requests.

Can't you come? Then always cancel on time, preferably 24 hours in advance. If you do not do this, we will charge you a fee. These costs are not reimbursed by your health insurer.
