In het seizoen 2025/2026 is de opkomst voor de pneumokokkenvaccinatie drie keer hoger dan verwacht. Hierdoor hebben wij helaas te maken met een tijdelijk tekort aan vaccins. Wij begrijpen dat dit vervelend is en doen ons uiterste best om dit zo spoedig mogelijk op te lossen.
Begin maart verwachten wij een nieuwe levering. Indien u het pneumokokkenvaccin nog niet heeft ontvangen en dit wel wenst, verzoeken wij u contact op te nemen met de praktijk. Zodra de nieuwe levering is binnengekomen, kunnen wij vervolgens contact met u opnemen over het verdere verloop.

Watch on www.thuisarts.nl in case of fever for advice. Call us immediately if you are very short of breath, drowsy or feel seriously ill. For children under 3 months of age with a fever, you should always call immediately.
In Rotterdam-IJsselmonde, you can visit two STAR vaccination locations:
- Herenwaard 38 — open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- Palm Garden 69 — open on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
You can also use other STAR vaccination locations in the region. Sometimes the doctor will refer you to the hospital for blood tests; this will always be discussed with you beforehand.

With your written consent, a medical advisor can request information from us in writing. In our practice, requests for information are usually processed within 4 to 6 weeks. This has to do with the fact that regular patient care gets priority over administrative requests.
Can't you come? Then always cancel on time, preferably 24 hours in advance. If you do not do this, we will charge you a fee. These costs are not reimbursed by your health insurer.
