Two general practices work together in our health center: Bouwland & van Leeuwen General Practice and De Dok General Practice (formerly Dr. Verbeek's practice)
Each practice has a permanent team of GPs. Are you registered with a practice? Then you will receive an appointment at the same practice. Even when you ask an online question, it is important that you do this at your own practice. This is how we can help you the best and fastest. Sometimes GPs work with us temporarily, for example during holidays or in case of illness from a regular doctor. This is how we ensure that someone is always available for your care.

Some of the doctor's tasks are taken over by them. We do this so that you can be helped more quickly. The doctor always remains ultimately responsible.

We are a training practice. This means that sometimes a trainee general practitioner or an intern works in the practice. They are always supervised by an experienced doctor or medical assistant.
Our care
You can come to our practice for a number of examinations and treatments. This way, you don't have to go to the hospital and you will be helped close to home.
If medically necessary, the doctor performs minor procedures, such as removing bumps or ingrown toenails.
We also place spirals/implants and can be given injections into joints. First, the doctor will assess whether the treatment is suitable for you.
We do not provide cosmetic care, you can contact a cosmetic doctor for this.
Our care
The medical assistants support with, among other things, performing Pap smears, nitrogen treatments for warts or minor skin disorders, ear syringes and urine tests.
In addition, we offer studies such as a holter study for heart rhythm disorders and lung function tests for asthma or COPD. We help patients with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, COPD, cardiovascular diseases and high blood pressure. You can also come to us for support with psychological complaints, sleeping problems, quitting smoking, lifestyle questions and elderly care.
